The Barbell Squat

The Squat is so important for bodybuilding we have dedicated several pages to this elite muscle building exercise which is far too simply called The Squat.

This exercise is feared, misunderstood, and credited with evil deeds.
 
This exercise is strenuous to execute, so strenuous that it is often avoided by many.

This exercise will break you if you do not know how to squat and you have the audacity or naivety to attempt it without good form and preparation.

Knowing how to do the squat correctly is essential because the stress of this exercise is so great it forces your body to produce natural testosterone which is needed for the bodybuilding process.
 

This video is pretty good form. However for clarity a power rack or spotters have not been used.
